My professional experience includes 15 years of working in the fields of both mental health and substance abuse counseling. I graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counselor Education. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), as well as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). I have experience working with adults and families dealing with issues such as: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse/dependency and recovery, post partum depression, abuse, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment, life transition, and relationship issues. My therapy approach includes different styles, including Cognitive Behavioral and Gestalt, as well as specialized therapies like EMDR. It is gratifying to witness people utilizing insight and awareness that they gain in therapy, and then building on that to create change in their lives.

 

Therapy Rates:

$120.00 initial session

$100.00 per session 
 
Payment Type/Details:

1. I accept cash or check
2. I will bill your insurance company monthly if you have insurance. Any deductible that has not yet been met will be your responsibility to pay.

 

Insurance Companies:

I am an approved provider with United HealthCare, United Behavioral Health, Aetna, Anthem, Medical Mutual, Magellan and many other different insurance companies and Employee Assistance Programs. Please ask if you do not see your insurance company listed here as insurance plans are constantly changing, and sometimes I add new plans.

Schedule/Hours/Availability:

I am usually accepting new patients, and have evening and daytime hours available.
