As the newest therapist to join Wilbridge, I am thrilled to be surrounded by such breadth and depth of experience in the helping profession. For the past 1.5 years I've gained experience in the community mental health system, often working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I've had specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder and I've also received training in the treatment of perinatal mood disorders, such as postpartum depression and anxiety. I work closely with the non-profit organization, POEM (Perinatal Outreach and Encouragement for Moms), helping to promote awareness and understanding of perinatal mood disorders.
I graduated from Ohio University in 2000 with a BS in Organizational Communications and worked in marketing for 6 years before deciding to go back to graduate school. I received a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and an Ed.S. in Professional Psychology and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University in 2009.
I look forward to helping my clients gain insight and self-awareness, improve their interpersonal relationships, and become "un-stuck" on their roads to happiness.
